Best of Central Part One
Naturally Nica opened our eyes and shut our mouths. Kicking off in San Juan Del Sur the little surf town knocked our socks off and the barefoot beach dancing began! Sunday Fun-day showed us the time of our lives, while we all wore our sunglasses and hoarded our advil for the following days.
We continued to walk our glittery beach bums all over town while picking up every Toña y Taco along the way.The catamaran trip was a sight for sore eyes, with our first introductions to the long sunsets of Nicaragua. San Juan Del Sur’s surf town was the best introduction into the culturally colourful experiences Granada was going to give us.
Moving into the collective craziness of Granada we were greeted with a fast paced lifestyle. The developing presence of Nicaragua’s booming economy is felt, while the nightlife offered us a mix of locals and gringos jamming together. Hotdogs, nuts, mangos, and fresh fruit were available on every street corner, and the Managuan people were sweet to all the tourists visiting their beautiful bustling town. The century old churches centered our souls and brought us back down to earth before heading into the jungle that is Coasting Costa Rica.
