Wow!! Bangkok. As soon as we arrived, I was so excited. The first thing I noticed about Bangkok was how polite everyone was. At the airport, we got all our stuff quickly and headed to the hotel. We stayed at the New Siam I Guesthouse, which is in an unreal location.
Street vendors selling clothes and food (which you are crazy if you don’t fall in love with the food after your first bite) right outside the entrance and it’s within walking distance to Khosan Road.
Khosan Road is something like no other. Bright and early vendors and tuk tuk drivers set up camp and are there until well after the sun goes down trying to get you to buy from them. Make sure to get a pair of Thai pants… Or 8! There’s also tons of awesome clubs to go to on Khosan Road, my favourite being “The Club”. It blew every club I’ve ever been to out of the water. Definitely go and get a bucket or two! The first leg of the trip, we spent a limited amount of days in Bangkok, but we did make it to the Wat Pho Temple. Honestly, the pictures don’t even do it justice – it’s absolutely breathtaking. We had a man guide our tour through the temple where we saw Sitting Buddha, Standing Buddha, and Reclining Buddha. Make sure you’re dressed properly and you’ll be good to go! On our last night in Bangkok, we had an early dinner and jumped on an overnight bus that will bring us to Railay!
Can’t wait to tell you guys about my next few days!!
