Dark and slightly wet we set out on a bus for the long haul. 10 hours of what was supposed to be watching movies and sleeping turned into bonding time. About half of us ventured downstairs on the bus for some drinking games. In the last 48 hours I had only slept for 6 hours so I chose to sleep. 2 hours into the road trip I woke up to the laughter and loud noises from below.
Traveling to far-away places can be tricky! You may not speak the language, the time zone change can be challenging, and you may not necessarily know the best way to create a “plan of attack” when seeing the sights.
Koh Phangan is a much bigger island than Koh Tao. Just as beautiful though. We arrived to a beach front resort where we were assigned our rooms and they were so nice.
After a 10 hour bus ride and a 3 hour ferry ride we arrived in Koh Tao…
Being the final crew to arrive in Bangkok on the Wednesday (wheels touching the ground at 11:50 pm), my two friends, Krystal, Tye, and I unfortunately didn’t take to much of an advantage of the Bangkok night life.

It finally arrived, July 11th! Bali Discovery was here! Only a mere 19 hours of flying time plus lay overs and I would be there.
Oh, Chiang Mai – you beautiful. Thailand's second-largest city has risen and risen in recent decades to become a staple on the travel itineraries of thousands of backpackers making for the wondrous Land of Smiles.
A mind-boggling 2,000 islets and karst peaks covering more than 1,500 square kilometers makes Ha Long Bay one of the undisputed wonders of the natural world.
So, you love to turn a corner and see a giant elephant drawn in psychedelic hues looming on the concrete above you, or enjoy spying out the frescos of New Age hippies in the backstreets? You can think of nothing better than…
Canggu - our next travel destination. We were surrounded by great places to eat, cute stores to shop in and plenty of fascinating architecture.
Arriving in Ubud was a surreal experience, to say the least. The luscious greenery that surrounded us stretched out for miles and immediately captured my heart.
As the wheels of the plane touched the ground, my heart genuinely skipped a beat. Excitement coursed through my body as the realization that I had finally arrived kicked in. My Blissful Bali adventure had finally begun after months of anticipation and I couldn’t be more thrilled…
